Previously, Song Bowen had painted narrative works based on memory. Recently, he tried to cut out the painted picture and paste it on another picture. This is an act of adding a sense of strangeness and disharmony to the monotonous picture, but he found a way to find elements that add vividness in the uncertain chaotic background (lower layer) and confirm the picture structure relationship of the foreground (upper layer) position. The artist uses the layered relationship of materials to create a sense of physical space different from reality, transforming the image space of the painting into a work with a sense of tension. These works make people feel the artist's innate sense of rhythm happily. The sharp elements clearly present the layered structure, forming an interesting group of works.

We have come to a very special era. The explosion of information has made everyone more complicated. We must develop a coordinated relationship to survive. I like to encounter aimlessly and look for a momentary state. I firmly believe that there are some things that only I can see. At the same time, I have always maintained a deep doubt about myself. I can't give a very sure answer.
What we do now actually has a purpose, but what we leave behind should be closer to the truth.

The inspiration for this group of electronic works comes from my memories of my youth. At that time, I had just come into contact with the Internet and saw many programs and pictures opened on the computer screen. They did not belong to the same time and space, but they appeared on the same screen at the same time because of electronic technology. I think this is a very wonderful moment in history. Based on this inspiration, I keep opening my own "new window" on the oil painting to try to let my memories shuttle back and forth.
